Summary
Work within the partnership to bring new events, group functions, and business sponsorships to Lakemont Park and Galactic Ice. Help assist in office and manage social media platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Greet, screen, and forward incoming calls and emails
- Secure group events and sponsorship packages
- Promote and secure rentals
- Develop usage for recreation courts/rink
- Plan events
- Create and maintain social media
- Assist in website maintenance
- Develop marketing materials/graphic design work
- Assist with retail store set-up
- Act as Administrative Assistant
Assist in supervision of interns and seasonal hires for the park.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Education and/or Experience - Associates degree preferred from college or university; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical standard operating procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, agreements. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
- Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress websites, Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms. Ability to troubleshoot technology and communication devices. Have an eye for design and present information succinctly, creatively, and aesthetically.
