Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our team and help us spread the word about our innovative grocery home delivery service. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller at heart, with a talent for creating compelling content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement across various Social Media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a Social Media Content strategy that highlights KindBox's mission, promotes our locally-sourced products, and showcases our commitment to giving back to the community.
• Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, including photos, videos, graphics, and captions that educate, inspire, and entertain our audience.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to brainstorm and develop creative campaign ideas that align with our brand values and business objectives.
• Produce visually appealing content that showcases our local products, highlights their benefits, and tells the stories behind the farmers and producers we work with.
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely and authentic manner, fostering a sense of community and connection.
• Monitor Social Media channels for trends, news, and conversations related to local food, sustainability, and community giving, and leverage these insights to inform content creation.
• Analyze Social Media performance metrics and insights to measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Social Media trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and resonates with our audience.

Requirements:

• Experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for storytelling and a genuine interest in local food and community giving.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools and video editing software.
• In-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• A genuine passion for making a positive impact and helping others, with an understanding of social responsibility and sustainable practices.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
