Where you come in:

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President/Head of Division for Beatportal to set the strategic vision across content, partnerships, and growth opportunities for our community platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the profit and loss (P&L) of the department while overseeing two key divisions, with a primary focus on content. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of driving growth and innovation. This role can be based remotely within the USA and will require a right to live and work in the USA without the need for sponsorship.

As VP of Strategy & Content for Beatportal you will be accountable for:

• Developing and communicating the strategic vision and goals for our editorial and media portal (Beatportal), aligning with the overall objectives of the company.
• Driving the development and execution of content strategies to enhance brand presence, engagement, and revenue generation.
• Working alongside the Operations unit to turn the audience intelligence capture into guides for future campaigns, product innovation and operational efficiencies
• Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with suppliers, brands and Content creators to expand the reach and impact of Beatportal’s community.
• Leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of content initiatives, including content creation, distribution, and monetization.
• Analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
• Managing the profit and loss (P&L) of the division, ensuring financial targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the division.
• Recruiting, developing, and mentoring a high-performing team to drive divisional success.
• Collaborating with senior leadership to provide regular updates on divisional performance, opportunities, and challenges.

As VP of Strategy & Content for Beatportal you will require:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in content strategy, partnerships, and revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of the music, editorial and media landscape, trends, and consumer behavior.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans and results
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in managing the profit and loss (P&L) of a division or business unit.
• Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable impact and value.
