Marketing Assistant

West Michigan Technology Services is seeking a creative and driven candidate who is professional yet has a great sense of humor to fill a hybrid role of Marketing Assistant/Administrative Assistant (heavy on the Marketing, light on the Admin). We have begun the process of developing a new marketing campaign with the help of an outside Marketing team/Web team and are looking for someone to bring in-house to contribute and run with it.

The Marketing Assistant/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:

· Assisting with video content, creation, editing, and publishing (key responsibility)

· Social media management

· Email newsletter/campaigns

· Updating our website (with the help of our web developer)

· Tracking and reporting campaign metrics

· Participating in team meetings and collaborating on new projects

· Aiding in managing day-to-day office administrative tasks including coordinating schedules and assisting with general operations

· Helping our CEO with anything from emails to blog content

The ideal candidate has:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (we will be writing and speaking)
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• High attention to detail and organization
• Enthusiasm for marketing, and a startup work environment
• Great sense of humor and the ability to think outside of the box
• Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative are CRUCIAL

This position is flexible with 20+/- hours per week and we will work with your schedule but would like set days and times available. Additional benefits include cell phone reimbursement, mileage reimbursement, optional health insurance reimbursement, and dental and vision insurance.
