You'd be joining a team of dedicated staff providing in-home therapeutic services to support Atlantic County families with behavioral health issues and concrete needs and are involved with DCP&P.
$500 therapist sign on bonus and salary differential for bilingual staff
Job Function: Engage with parents, youth and families; assess their needs using evidence-based assessment tools. Provide evidence-informed treatment to build positive interactions, enhance child, parent and family well-being and stabilize the home and family. Provide therapy, education, support, advocacy and linkages to improve functioning.
Shift and Schedule
Monday to Friday, flexible hybrid work schedule, in home client sessions
What you'll do as a KFT Therapist:
- Provide evidence-informed treatment to build positive interactions, enhance child, parent and family well-being and stabilize the home and family.
- Provide therapy, education, support, advocacy and linkages to improve functioning.
- Co-facilitate groups for parents, children and families
- Work collaboratively with your KFT peers, DCP&P and community service providers
- Complete documentation consistent with program and agency requirements.

What you'll need to contribute as a therapist
- Master's degree in counseling, social work or a related field
- Strong engaging, communication and collaboration skills
- Professionalism, ethics and a commitment to excellence in care
- An understanding of trauma, loss, substance abuse, domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, mental health issues
- Experience working with DCP&P involved families preferred.
- Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, reliability and the ability to work well independently
- Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment
- Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record
