This leadership role at Perfection Hy-Test Company supports our Trensor Brand.
• Manage, control, and monitor processes and workflows at the distribution site.
• Manage inventory and supplies.
• Manage and train staff engaged in all warehouse activities to include receiving, stocking, processing, inventory control, returns, shipping, safety, and loss prevention.
• Align transportation rates and schedules for orders.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and analyses on operations as well as communicate regularly with appropriate management.
• Engage in cost analysis of warehouse operations.
- Ensure Departmental compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Direct order processing.
- Fill orders, pick orders and coordinate logistics with trucks.
- Set-up security systems; Maintain updates and enhancements to building security.
- Ensure all receiving, processing, shipping, and inventory control functions are executed accurately by verifying orders and auditing reports.
- Oversee compliance of practices and maintain an orderly and safe warehouse and shipping area. Process and manage all in-bound and out-bound freight.
- Implement and enforce best practices for inventory management, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Recommend new or improved methods, techniques, and procedures for various warehouse processes. Interact with Customers when necessary.
- Analyze data and trends to forecast future warehouse needs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship and open lines of communication with all departments to ensure Department, Company, and Customer goals are achieved.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet operational goals and budget targets.
- Complies with federal, state, local and anti-trust requirements.
- Protects operations by keeping business strategies, trade secrets and financials confidential.
- Ensure compliance with anti-trust regulations, including communication about concerns, liabilities or unethical activities.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations, to include: Create and foster a team atmosphere. Ensure good housekeeping and safe working conditions in the facility. Complete performance evaluations of distribution center personnel and provide clear and concise feedback. Establish and maintain good rapport throughout the facility.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
- Good understanding of inventory management
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Willingness to learn & adapt.
- Strong math, reading and writing skills.
- Forklift certification.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Physical ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with 2-person team requirements.
Training and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- 5+ years of warehouse experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (any specific physical attributes or limiting factors to be accounted for):
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a large majority of time walking, standing and using hands to push/pull. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is required to independently lift and /or move up to 20 to 50 pounds regularly and part of two-person team up to 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
