ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Payroll Manager is responsible to prepare payroll, maintain payroll records and provide payroll reports for the GroupM portfolio of entities. The current portfolio has 9 pay groups.
YOUR IMPACT:
- Process and maintain GroupM's semi-monthly across multiple state payroll by following processes that direct the collection, calculation and entering of payroll data
- Update payroll records for new hires, terminations and changes in salary, exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and department/ division transfers
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
- Provide payroll support by answering questions and fulfilling requests
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Function as a technical resource for the operating units regarding payroll matters
- Work on special projects and initiatives.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 6 years of payroll experience
- Previous experience working on a high volume, multistate payroll
- Detail oriented, disciplined individual with the ability to investigate and resolve problems
- Excellent communication and customer services skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Experience with ADP EV6 is required and ADP ETime

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
