This role would require the candidate to have a deep understanding of integrated payroll function - payroll systems and related data. Another must is to have a thorough Workday Payroll experience.
One of the major responsibilities will involve communication with the business counterparts and advising them on payroll issues. The client reporting will be to the VP of HR technology, as a partner who can work with him solve complex payroll issues and lead the business conversations.
Excellent customer relationships coupled with oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with system users, internal clients and developers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- This consultant should also be able to provide advisory support and participate in business meetings. Experience in data and integration is crucial, as the consultant will be involved in building systems and providing payroll support..
- Subject matter expertise in full out-of-the-box capabilities of and functional configuration experience in Workday Payroll
- Provide subject matter expertise in payr oll and provide operational support to the payroll manager and collaborate with them to gather requirements, configure and customize Workday Payroll.
- Payroll business process design and optimization expertise leading to module (re)configuration
- Researching and resolving day-to-day Workday Payroll issues
- Work with client to support the new requirements for Payroll in Workday
- Creating and Updating Workday configurations based on requirement changes
- Provide support for regular and special Payroll processes in Workday
