As a Braid Salon Manager at Swella, you'll be at the forefront, guiding our team towards success. From crafting unique experiences for our clients to providing continuous support and coaching to our service providers, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our business. Summary:
The Braid Salon Manager role encompasses overseeing day-to-day operations and managing the overall business, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client experiences. You will report directly to the owner(s) for discussions regarding human resources, public relations/marketing, customer service/relationship management, and financial accountability.
This position demands accessibility as the first point of contact 24/7, requiring versatility in performing various tasks including shampooing, blow-drying, takedowns, prep-parting, and braiding. Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of management experience
- Licensed Cosmetologist in the State of Georgia for at least three (3) years
- Previous experience in managing a minimum of 15 direct reports
- Experience in a fast-paced service environment
- Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver remarkable customer service with a genuine passion for quality
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously
- Advanced experience in recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team
- Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Track record of effectively growing sales
- Effective leadership skills
- Swella adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding background checks
Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide, and inspire all employees daily
- Represent and lead from Swella’s Core Values
- Oversee customer service representatives
- Coach and provide feedback to team members, ensuring Swella standards are consistently met
- Cultivate relationships with Swella’s clientele to ensure exceptional experiences during every visit
- Maximize the salon’s financial potential
- Understand and optimize your salon’s P&L
- Resolve employee relations and customer issues while safeguarding the company against liability, mindful of salon morale and culture
- Execute operations, marketing, and human resources objectives in the salon
- Manage timekeeping and payroll reporting for your staff
- Monitor and maintain employee schedules
- Perform daily and weekly hair and non-hair product inventory, and maintain optimal ordering levels
- Invest time in developing your team
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

This role ensures maximum efficiency in business operations, meets client expectations and goals, provides relevant training and development for staff, and ensures profitability. The Braid Salon Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with state laws, verifying employees have appropriate licenses and skills for assigned duties, and delivering a high-end client experience.
