GENERAL FUNCTION
This position is the direct operational link between store / field teams with various business functions including Eye Care, After Sales, Product, IT & Digital, Inventory Control, Marketing/Visual and Asset Protection teams. They have a dedicated focus on elevating operational tools, and methods to drive business results, standardization, process improvement, and operational excellence. They also manage operational planning and execution for other related business initiatives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and support on LC Store & Field Operational Processes.
- Actively review and update existing policies & procedures to meet the needs of the business.
- Be a change agent for improvements by identifying areas of misalignment and stimulating change.
- Influence global team to ensure brand’s priorities are well represented and prioritized.
- Proactively partner with cross functional teams to improve store processes to drive sales and reduce cost.
- Develop change management processes and tools in partnership with Learning & Development and Systems Team.
- Recommends solutions and enhancements to known store and field challenges.
- Streamlines and simplifies processes to elevate the associate experience.
- Coordinates feedback from the field to generate improvements in future projects and initiatives.
- Establish processes and tools to support and sustain defined processes.
- Proactively works together with partners to review results and incorporate learnings in new tools and/or system developments.
- Drive field usability and adoption based on CSC and field recommendations.
- Track project status against key milestones and evaluate ability to achieve timeline.
- Align run-the-business processes and initiatives with brand business calendar.
- Provide communication content for all run-the-business activities and new initiatives to the brand Communication team.
- Provide stores and field business enabling support and services, upholding our Service Level Agreement.
- Represent the voice of the field/stores by maintaining a working knowledge of Store Operations and execution via:
- Quarterly visits to field/stores
- Working in stores once a quarter
- Maintain effective working relationships with Brand partners and CSC Departments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in specialty retail
- 4+ years project management experience or equivalent
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Clear communications, both written and verbal
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to exercise sound judgment
- Ability to keep sensitive business/personnel information confidential
- Ability to maintain an enthusiastic attitude
- Work ethic – flexibility in hours worked (i.e. may need to arrive early or stay late)
- Proficiency of Windows software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Pay Range: 101,700.00 - 148,596.60
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
