Overview:
This customer facing position is accountable for developing, implementing, and managing all B2B electronic commerce capabilities and processes and ensuring that they are aligned with company objectives while meeting both customer requirements and operational efficiency goals within Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop B2B eCommerce strategies that provide self-service options, reduce manual transactions, and optimize business flow.
  • Working knowledge of EDI is a requirement.
  • Establish, track, and publish metrics to show progress, (track performance) measures success, or identifies areas of opportunity on all eCommerce programs.
  • Manage Leviton’s virtual data warehouse to ensure all required item attributes and images are populated and standardized per the latest industry schema.
  • Drive IT project portfolio by collaborating with SC leaders to recommend, prioritize, test, and implement new programs and technologies that aid in improving service to the customer or and optimize Supply Chain processes.
  • Perform cost / benefit analysis and create business proposals in support of customer requests, self-service options, and eCommerce initiatives.
  • Proactively seek information on Leviton’s competition and the industry’s best practices to ensure continuous improvement of eCommerce programs to meet or exceed customer and internal expectations.
  • Manage all EDI relationships, on-board new customers and ensure all transactions are optimized.
  • Manage projects as seen appropriate by the Sr. Director of Customer Services and eCommerce that continue to digitize and automate manual processes; this includes:
    • Leadership / main point of contact
    • Technical, testing and training assistance where appropriate.
    • Ability to develop and articulate departmental strategies.
    • Measuring and publishing success.
  • Effectively develop and manage eCommerce programs within the department which may include, but not limited to:
    • Customer Scorecards and Compliancy issues
    • B2B portal and virtual data warehouses
    • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
    • Self-service opportunities
    • Electronic transactions (non-EDI)
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of E-Commerce technologies including EDI, virtual warehouses and data synchronization
  • Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, e.g., logistics, inventory management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, management, and organizational skills, with the ability to conduct independent research and analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail oriented with good time management, trouble shooting and follow through skills.
  • An awareness of the needs of the customer and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Business acumen of large retailers such as Amazon and Home Depot a plus.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in eCommerce, EDI, Customer Service or Supply Chain
Travel:
  • 5-10% travel may be required
