The Manager, Business Development (inbound) is responsible for developing and managing a team of Inbound Business Development Representatives (BDR) responsible for qualifying, nurturing and routing inbound leads to schedule qualified sales meetings that build pipeline for the organization. Reporting into Demand Generation, this role is focused on inbound leads.
The ideal candidate is someone who’s looking to grow in a management role, someone who has the skills to develop Business Development reps and drive programs that ensure successful pipeline development, partnering with marketing to engage and nurture specific accounts to ensure overall health of the business. You will orchestrate inbound Business Development operations, reporting and campaigns by establishing workflows, writing scripts, motivating the team, and tracking and reporting success.
This role is a Hybrid position based at our Chicago Office: 231 South LaSalle Street, requiring a 2-day per week in office presence. Please apply only if you can commute to the office.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 3 inbound BDRs including resource management, training, and performance management
- Engage with sales and marketing teams to develop program objectives and establish follow up workflows
- Create and enforce demand generation accountability metrics (top-funnel to close) to impact annual revenue
- Leading as a disciplined and process-oriented team lead
- Hands-on coaching on messaging/positioning, cadence, personas, etc.
- Run and optimize follow up activities to engage qualified prospects and customers to take an action
- Build spiff programs and other incentives to motivate a team of SDRs
- Build weekly/quarterly/monthly lead development goals and be able to report on success within each market to marketing leadership
- Become an expert on enablement and execution of sales enablement and prospecting tools
- Perform routine audits on team activity and logged information
- Partner with marketing and sales leadership on driving results from prospecting vision and strategy
Qualifications:
- 3+ years Business Development management experience (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Highly driven individual with an execution focus and strong sense of urgency and a belief in Relativity’s Mission to Organize data, Discover the truth and Act on it

Compensation:
- Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
- This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between $84,000 and $126,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
