Maintenance Technician : Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 12 months work experience. Other: Ability to complete floor maintenance duties. Ability to read and write and comprehend written instructions. Must be self-motivated and take pride in work; understand directions, organize and perform duties with minimum supervision.

Requirements: The qualified candidate must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, and vocational training in a skilled trade or other relevant technical training. Physical/Criminal Background Check and Current CPR First Aid. One year of experience in physical plant operations and equipment maintenance in an institutional health care setting is required. HVAC certification and experience a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

• Must be able to read, write, and do simple arithmetic.

• Must have previous maintenance experience.

• Must have the ability to work in Healthcare Group Home settings.

• Must have a pleasant personality.

• Must be able to follow directions.

• Ability to work flexible hours helpful.

• Responds as needed to weather emergencies.

• Must have experience with general maintenance, carpentry machine repair, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or HVAC. and plumbing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift/carry objects up to 80 lbs.

• Operate drills and other electrical equipment.

• Climb ladders

• Crawl through narrow openings.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Non-hazardous conditions.

• May be in contact with body fluids when working with our People Persons.

May be exposed to infectious waste, disease, or other conditions

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
