As maintenance support, the team member’s responsibilities will be focused on assisting maintenance team in maintaining all spares for the production lines and planned preventive maintenance schedules implementation by using maintenance operating system to support vehicle manufacturing. This team member will be required to work with cross-functional teams (Maintenance Support, Engineering Team, Spares Team and FLUX Development Team) to implement planned spares and 100% inventory availability with accuracy. The candidate will act as a single point of contact for EMT’s (Engineering and Maintenance Teams) and support EMT’s in creating planned preventive maintenance schedules, PM checklists, work orders, assets, and create dispatches during planned or unplanned downtime for all critical or non-critical maintenance activities and projects in FLUX dispatch management module.
What You’ll Do- Replenish Critical Line Side spares at all designated areas at the line on daily basis
- Process Critical Spares Parts and work closely with spares planner’s & buyer’s for addition in Maintenance Operating System (FLUX)
- Accurate systematic inventory, identifying spare parts, organizing and stocking parts for M3/Y Lineside Lockers/racks as per standard process
- Process RMAs, Return Orders, Site-to-Site Transfer, Handover’s to spare warehouse and handle Adhoc shipments
- Responsible of learning all new FLUX features and for training EMT’s for new Flux features. * Analyze planned spares consumption and identify projected shortages to mitigate production lines downtime
- Analyze Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMs) data on daily basis and report to maintenance manager
- Compiles, verify and submit/present periodic/scheduled reports to the management with constructive feedback
- Deliver spares & equipment between various locations within the Fremont plant as when and where needed by Maintenance & Engineering Team’s (EMT’s)
- Collect suppliers packing slips against spares shipments purchase orders and report to project coordinator
- Provide backup for coworkers as required
- Advance Microsoft Excel experience required (formulas, vlook, creating pivot tables and graphs)
- Experience in Inventory, Stocking and RMA process experience
- Understanding of spares inventory management systems
- Ability to learn Tesla internal tools and systems
- Intermediate level expertise on MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint), MYSQL is a plus
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Must be reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused
- Demonstrated skills in supplier operational and relationship management
- Passionate and high energy, with the diplomacy and cooperative style necessary to positively influence others, both inside and outside of Tesla
- Able to present scheduled reports to higher management with high level of accuracy and professionalism
- Ability to analyze data and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment
- Ability to perform repetitive duties while standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 30-50lbs
- Forklift Certification is a plus

$28.75 - $54.44/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
