The Mail Room Clerk is responsible for receiving, sorting, distributing, and picking up incoming and outgoing mail daily. This opportunity offers a M-F 8 am to 5 pm. Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Receives mail from USPS, expedited delivery vendors or Contractors, sorts mail accurately, and delivers mail according to stated SLA. Picks up company mail from designated locations at scheduled times during the day.
- Records mailroom metrics and statistics, including incoming and outgoing mail count details. Upkeep of certified mail log and files archival according to department policies.
- Ensures delivery and receipt of parcels is accurate, recorded, and on time.
- Prepares mail for insertion into mailing machines.
- Ensures that the correct postage is affixed to each parcel or letter. Ensures that the mail is ready before nightly pickup times.
- Assist the Facilities team with varied projects, such as EOB stuffing, folding and inserting, CAP check runs, and daily check runs.
Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Minimum 6 months office experience.
