Responsibilities:
- Daily retrieves sort / opens / delivers all mail
- Pick up all internal mail
- Applies stamp or printed postage on outgoing mail
- Delivers outgoing mail to post office
- Prepares & delivers UPS / Fed Ex packages as needed
- Tracks USPS confirmation receipts
- Several times a week checks copiers for paper volume and resupplies as needed
- Thursday’s picks up recycle boxes throughout the office to prepare for shredding company pick up
- Monitors all postage machines for ink and required postage
- Informs HR of any need for supplies
- Supports, sorting, downloading, validating, auditing charges
- Updating patient addresses in respective billing systems
- Faxing items as needed
- Forwards Collection Agency mail
- AS400 non money filing and maintaining
- Support Cash Posting with scanning if needed
- Supporting credentialing with document scanning
- HP / OAP pre-pay preparation and keep spreadsheets updated
- Support Billing Manager with various spreadsheet input
- Purge client patient packets weekly
- Print remote billers’ paperwork and handle appropriately
- Support credentialing for filing and scanning
- Maintain client credentialing files and purge inactive clients
