Lpc, Lac/Intake Specialist

Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Associate Counselor to join our dynamic team as a full-time Counselor/Intake Specialist. This position involves conducting initial patient intakes, providing ongoing counseling services, and maintaining timely and accurate documentation. Our ideal candidate is someone who embodies patience, kindness, and understanding, while also demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and the ability to stay on task.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine patient needs and appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality, ongoing counseling services to a diverse clientele.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Collaborate effectively with scheduling staff to manage appointments, including accommodating on-the-spot appointment requests.
• Work cohesively within a team environment, maintaining open lines of communication with all staff members.
• Continually assess and adapt methods to improve patient care and outcomes.Qualifications:
• Must hold a valid LPC or LAC license.
• Proven experience in counseling and intake assessments.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be patient, kind, and understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to timely and accurate documentation.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with staff.
• Flexibility to take on appointments as needed, ensuring patient needs are promptly addressed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
