A Better Tomorrow Therapy is a pediatric home health agency located in Phoenix, AZ. We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and feeding therapy to children aged 3-21 who have been diagnosed with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, and Intellectual Disabilities. We are contracted with the Division of Developmental Disabilities and accept both private insurance and cash payments from clients. Our treatment approach is person-centered, and we prioritize the appreciation and appropriate compensation of our therapists so that we can continue to serve the state of Arizona.
Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Smart Sheets, Google Drive, Email, and other internet sites.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred experience with The Division of Developmental Disabilities and knowledge of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy.

Responsibilities as an Intake Specialist/Scheduler at A Better Tomorrow Therapy include:

• Gather all relevant demographic, insurance, and medical information from patients.
• Collaborate with DDD support coordinators to obtain patients' plans of care, planning documents, and authorizations.
• Utilize scheduling tools and referral systems to book patient appointments.
• Process referrals using the referral system, schedule appointments with patients, and import referral documents into patients' charts.
• Handle incoming calls and requests promptly and accurately.
• Communicate potential patient concerns to supervisors or leads. A Better Tomorrow Therapy
• Ensure strict confidentiality of all health records and member information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
