- Monitor and order supplies for Passport Services.
- Serve as a Passport Acceptance Agent.
- Perform weekly tracking of submitted passport applications.
- Answer questions associated with the passport application process (in person and via the telephone).
- Maintain passport calendar and appointments.
- Perform routine office support duties (e.g. filing, copying, and scanning). Support the Circulation Manager, SLRC with tasks as needed.
- Serve as support for circulation desk when needed.
- Register customers for library cards and maintain customer library records; charge and discharge library materials; handle customer registration problems; provide explanation of circulation regulations to customers.
- Answer telephones; answer directional questions and refer customers to appropriate personnel; assist customers with operation of library equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree.
- Customer service experience.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Word & Excel and the Internet.
- Office support experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to pay fine attention to detail.
- Independent problem solver.
- Ability to provide a variety of information and guidance clearly, courteously and pleasantly to library customers and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records.
