Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily order checks.
- Identifying part shortages and expediting the procurement of necessary parts.
- Upholding a clean and safe work environment, ensuring safe work practices, and promptly reporting any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Overseeing stock control, planning for future needs, and proposing appropriate part levels.
- Conducting audits of inventory housekeeping.
- Performing root cause analysis for exceptions or discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Recommending process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the ordering process, emphasizing a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Managing and maintaining Smartsheets used for project updates.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of records related to inbound shipments and part shortages.
- Implementing and enforcing 6S policies within the department.
- Assuming responsibility for safety within the designated area.
Qualifications:
- Prior logistics experience, preferably within an automotive manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, written reports, and documentation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver high-quality results.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive long-term change across multiple functions and transform business processes.
- A team player who is self-motivated and outcome-driven.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
