Port X Logistics is changing the landscape of the traditional drayage industry; we cater to the quick transfer of goods overland to meet our customers urgent domestic deadlines and delivery needs. Our key principles for delivering an exceptional customer experience include being proactive in communication, visibility, technology, and transparency. We are a new company and growing quickly. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team of Port X Ambassadors. We are currently accepting resumes from applicants with Supply Chain / Logistics Coordination experience.

An ideal candidate for the Logistics Coordinator position will be able to perform the following duties and posses the identified skills:

Duties

• Build, cultivate, and expand current customer & business partner relationships.
• Full understanding or ability to learn how to run the intermodal drayage process start to finish with a basic understanding of TMS software and how it works.
• Basic understanding of expedited drayage costs within the domestic/intermodal transportation industry. Ability to calculate rates through negotiation processes.
• Assist customers with order status inquiries and special needs.
• Problem resolution in the movement of domestic containerized cargo.
• Dispatch Drivers locally, via phone and text.
• Manage and schedule driver work to efficiently meet appointments and cutoffs.

Skills

• Basic knowledge & understanding of Microsoft Office or related software programs.
• Be able to understand, embrace and encompass the Port X Logistics BRAND, and cooperation in being a Brand Ambassador for the company and what Port X represents.
• Time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to network over different social platforms.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of truck freight rates.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in any field preferred.
• Candidate should have minimum of one year experience in a relatable logistics role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
