Description:Element Electronics started in 2007 with a simple belief - every home should have access to TVs with the latest technology. After a few years, we decided we wanted to do more; in 2014, we opened our factory in Winnsboro, SC making Element the only major television company assembling TVs in the United States. Today, we continue to push ourselves, and have expanded our product range of electronics and home appliances while continuing to provide customers with products with the latest technology, but at the most accessible prices.
The main role of this position involves coordinating cargo dispatching, scheduling, inventory management, and shipping and receiving. It entails leading the development and implementation of strategies and plans to fulfill the company's immediate and future supply chain, business operations, and production control needs. Other responsibilities include:
- Responsible for implementing a fully functional supply chain management/production control infrastructure.
- Coordinates the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples and the minimization of obsolescence.
- Develops methods and procedures for scheduling of materials from suppliers to support manufacturing in achieving customer demand and minimizing cost impacts.
- Negotiates rates with trucking companies to ensure the upmost quality and timely.
- Proactively identify challenges with regards to shipments to come up with timely response to ensure that clients/customers receive merchandize.
- Coordinates shipment schedules and make allocation to the different trucking companies.
- Directs activities by establishing task priorities, scheduling, and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
- Communicate with trucking companies to ensure that all shipment issues are identified, and shipment delivery is done on time.
- Develops and implements technical project management tools such as plans, schedules and responsibility and compliance matrices.
- Maintains record keeping systems (input and issuance from inventory, labor reporting, startup of quoting modules, etc.).
- Carries out a comprehensive review of the procurement function and its methodology and identifies and implements improvements.
- Identifies new suppliers, agrees to terms, and negotiates supply agreements, where appropriate.
- Coordinates vendor relationships.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of supply chain experience.
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive: A team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical engineering initiatives.
- Expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
