This would be an ideal position for someone looking to obtain their Pharmacy Technician Certification as the company does allow and support a training program for those looking to complete their certification.
This role has a $500 signing bonus to be paid out after 30 days of employment.
About Position:
If you are a Pharmacy Technician and looking for a change of pace, this is not your normal technician role. You must be a team player as this role requires interaction with multiple other pharmacy roles. We ship out 75-100 prescriptions a day. This role involves a significant number of repetitive tasks and attention to detail, which may require a high level of patience and diligence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating and scheduling timely medication delivery to patients.
- Establish and enforce shipping protocols that ensure timely, cost effective, traceable, and quality controlled delivery to correct destination
- Prepare accurate shipping labels and appropriate packaging of medications
- Communication with patients regarding recent deliveries
- Troubleshooting delivery exceptions/issues
- Manage shipping supplies and equipment
- Providing quality customer care and service to all patients, nurses and/or healthcare aids.
- Work with other team members to coordinate deliveries.
- Maintain packing lists and shipping manifests in an organized and retrievable manner.
