Position Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Position Reports to: Director of Internal Operations
Supervises: N/A
Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 Years of general administrative work experience. Preference will be given to candidates with Construction, Purchasing and/or experience in the Homebuilding industry.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Career Level: Entry-Level
Status: Full-time / Monday – Friday / 40 hours weekly
Salary: $45-65K per year / $21.63- $31.25 per hour
Classification: Nonexempt

Summary: Coordinating activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain vendor packets and qualifications.
- Request for pricing and run cost analysis.
- Revise/update features lists.
- Update community vendor lists.
- Responsible for submitting and tracking all vendor rebates.
- Price and distribute plan/scope changes.
- Maintain Safety Program records.
- Issue Variance Purchase Orders as needed.
- Create and maintain vendor contract files.
- Research invoice or purchase order issues as needed.
- Work with field construction team on a daily basis.
- Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
- Expedite delivery of goods to communities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible attitude.
- Detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently and with little direct supervision.
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds, occasionally.
