Form of workGathers and analyzes logistics data to assess the current supplier, location at each step of the supply chain. Maintains and communicates the product flow from material acquisition to final delivery. Understands, and is proficient at logistics interfaces to properly document the condition of the product at each step of the process and document that progress in the logistics data base and/or oracle based tools. Evaluates current policies and impacts to the business for policy change on the current and future plans. Conducts research on current supply chain issues and identifies potential problems and generates solutions before impediments toward delivery is realized. Addresses routine and unexpected disruptions or excursions from the supply chain flow to rapidly reach closure.
This position relies on organization and planning to meet objectives with a degree of creativity, continuous improvement approach, and latitude expected to fulfill a variety of duties.
Be able to manage and organize large amounts of data and maintain an internal database with the latest material information, and be able to run reports.
Works well with all functional areas in a team environment with a can-do attitude for the ultimate success of the business. Builds trust with internal and external customers.
Monitors contracts and coordinates between functions in order to receive, inspect, DD250, and ship in a timely manner.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 5 years of work experience or equivalent experience
- High School Diploma
- Some College
- Ability to adjust to customer requirements with little notice
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Capable of building relationships and communicating with all levels of the enterprise
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Oracle based tools.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Oracle skills preferred as well as Microsoft Office and Access.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
