J Global Energy Midstream LLC was formed in 2020 to acquire and operate midstream assets across North America, focusing on natural gas processing, liquid storage, and transportation.
The privately held company is headquartered in Houston and led by an entrepreneurial team of Industry veterans. JGE Midstream successfully closed its first transaction in Q4 with the acquisition of established gathering, processing, fractionation and terminal assets in East Texas.
About the position:
The main goal of our purchasing department is to ensure the supply of materials and services needed for our operation, at the lowest possible cost, without compromising quality or delivery time.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential suppliers;
- Negotiate short and long term contracts;
- Manager supplier relationships and also search for new ones;
- Monitor supplier performance;
- Identify cost-saving opportunities;
- Prepare and present reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience in purchasing and procurement in the oil and gas industry;
- Oracle Netsuite and Excel is a plusl;
- Availability for occasional travel.
