Overall Job Summary: As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible to support all projects and business that Corporate Logistics Department take a lead to proceed.

1) Compliance management related to logistics issues
2) Standardization of logistics process
3) Planning & development of new corporate logistics management service are the major task to work for. Especially the analysis required to support the managers for various logistics optimization project of the existing business which is the part of “Planning & development of new corporate logistics management service” and it would require some data analysis by Optilogic, which is a Supply Chain planning software.
4) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement in our operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Supply Chain strategies, policies, and procedures based on market trends and business needs
- Analyze and identify inefficiencies in Supply Chain processes and provide recommendations for improvement
- Working on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analyzing performance and provide solution for inventory optimization.

- Work on logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met.

- Collaboratively improve the overall group companies Supply Chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process.

- Implementing and evaluating standardization activities related, Logistic service provider, Trade Compliance and Inventory management

- To be able work on Implement effective CO2 emission program.

- Analyzing and interpreting data and providing logistics information to aid cost effective, efficient, timely and high quality logistics solutions. Often work closely with the Logistics Managers and other stakeholders in the organization. Collaborate with manager or stakeholders to determine effective solutions.

- Working effectively Supply Chain optimization’ project to provide cost effective solution.(To be able to Identify opportunities for cost reduction, material flow improvement, and business development etc.)

- Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis and identify opportunities to aid efficiency and cost optimization through evaluation of data and ensure analysis is in line with business goals and targets.

- Create and maintain detailed financial reporting on all import activities including order management, logistics and shipping

- Support and create standard procedure that logistics system is operated in accordance with local, state and federal laws.

- Support and ensure that logistics activities comply with Unites States Customs and Border Protection regulation.

- Implementing new technologies and staying alert to new trends in the sector.

- Track logistics trends and use information to recommend changes

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Diploma/Degree. SCM or Industrial Engineering Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience. 3-5 years preferred.

Experience: Planning and analytic skills in Supply Chain Management

Comfortable working with network design, inventory/transformational optimization. A model builder for optimization projects.

Advanced level of Microsoft Excel

APICS Supply Chain Management certification preferable.

A logical and systematic approach to work.

Good time management ability.

The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer solutions.

Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.

The ability to lead and motivate a team.

IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data and be comfortable with new technology, networks and systems.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Working Conditions:

The position will be located in SCOA’s Houston office and may require some travel.

Physical Requirements: (If the job is physically demanding. For example, excessive standing, heavy lifting and frequency of same, etc.)

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, required to sit for extended periods of time while performing job duties, frequently operates standard office machines with hands and eyes.
