Primary Purpose:
The Lending Operations Coordinator reports to the Loan Operations Manager and is responsible for assisting the day to day functions of the core operations team. The general role of the Lending Operations Coordinator is to assist the supervisors of each sub-department, to assist with special projects, ensure proper training where needed throughout the department, and demonstrate quality leadership skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with technical processes specific to Central Loan Operations
- Assist with and manage vendor relationships and processes as necessary
- Assist management in coordinating communication and cooperation between other departments in Loan Operations by participating in Loan Operations management committees and relaying information to and from applicable employees
- Participate in company working groups and committees as directed
- Assist with conversion related projects as assigned
- Complete, convey, and accept other duties as assigned
- Promote general regulatory compliance through
- Assisting in department process testing
- Writing and monitoring departmental procedures
- Cross-training with employees and peer managers
- Continuous training on operations and regulations
- Timely response to and tracking of issues
Job Specifications:
- College Degree, or equivalent experience in Loan Operations
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Education
Required- High School or better
