Kiko is a soon to be new 75-seat restaurant from the husband-wife team Alex Chang and Lina Goujjane. Chef Chang’s approaches American fare with Asian accents. Chang's food is hyper-seasonal, influenced by his West Coast and Chinese roots, while also reflecting his work experience in Japan.
Kiko will feature a full bar and an ambitious beverage program run by Lina Goujjane, an alum of The Nomad, Momofuku Group and Sushi Noz. Goujjane is a second-generation NYC restaurateur and sommelier. Chang currently is acting executive chef of Il Buco Alimentari. We are looking for a fellow team member who can create an exemplirary cocktail program and who has an excellent knowlede in spirits worldwide.
At Kiko, our ideal leader is tasked with creating bespoke experiences for each guest, setting the ambiance, sharing stories, and enhancing the overall dining experience. Candidate must be able to provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring a high functioning & high-quality bar program that is set up to create memorable moments of hospitality for our guests and meet our financial targets. In addition to leadership and interpersonal skills, we are seeking a creative leader than can build and cost cocktails. Candidates must display a hunger for continual learning, curiosity, and an open-minded approach, as the bar program emphasizes classic cocktails with a culinary twist. Collaboration with colleagues and management remains pivotal, underscoring the bartender's integral role in the restaurant's prosperity.
