This position involves overseeing a caregiving team, managing the household, and accompanying a client in Brickell, Miami. The client, a man with a physical disability who uses a powered wheelchair for mobility, is a hotel developer with a background in technology, small business, and real estate. He values efficiency, innovation, and a supportive work environment. Prior caregiving experience is not essential for this role, and a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and supervising a caregiving team to ensure high-quality care and a cohesive working environment for the client
- Coordinating daily household operations, including scheduling, task assignment, and overseeing household maintenance for smooth and efficient operations
- Providing active companionship and support, fostering a positive and supportive relationship with the client
- Assisting with meal planning and overseeing preparation to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including managing online grocery orders and meal schedules
- Ensuring the household remains clean and well-organized
- Looking after two small cats, ensuring their well-being
- Managing transportation for appointments and activities to ensure punctuality and reliability
- Being flexible to travel with client as needed, managing household and caregiving responsibilities while on the move
