Small, congenial Westside business and real estate litigation firm looking for experienced mid to senior level litigator.
Candidates must have AT LEAST seven (7) years of California litigation experience, including drafting and arguing law and motion, written discovery drafting and responding, taking and defending depositions, mediation, and trial experience. Attorney must be able to manage a litigation file with minimal supervision. There is an opportunity for employment or contract work. This is an idea position for (1) someone who is very experienced and looking to develop their own practice, but does not have time in a more traditional firm billable-requirement structure to both meet billables and do client development; or (2) someone looking for considerable flexibility in their schedule and life/work balance with a 4-6 hour a day work schedule that is not quite part time and not quite "FULL TIME;" or (3) someone who looks to supplement with their own work or other contract work. There is a compensation structure for originated work that rivals bigger firms. We are looking to build a team and grow together.
Firm practices in various business litigation matters and represents homeowners and investors in a variety of real estate disputes, including construction, HOA, buyer/seller disputes, landlord tenant disputes. Ideal candidates have a wide range of litigation experience and good basic litigation skills.
Higher range of hourly pay equates to turn key work product in a variety of different types of cases and tasks.
