The Position:
Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the State of California
• 2+ years' experience in litigation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in healthcare commercial/business litigation preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Legal project management experience is helpful

Responsibilities:

• Support a litigation caseload representing primarily healthcare business entities in both commercial and consumer cases from inception through dispositive motion, mediation, negotiated resolution, binding arbitration or trial
• Assist a team in providing risk management advice and counsel to healthcare organizations regarding business operations and general counsel services to clients
• Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports
