Ip Litigation Associate Attorney

Boutique civil trial law firm based in Playa Vista, CA seeks full-time mid-level associate to work on intellectual property litigation matters.
The Job: Day-to-day responsibility for busy IP litigation docket that includes defending copyright and trademark cases for large corporate clients. You will be evaluating and responding to demand letters, answering complaints, serving and responding to discovery, handling discovery disputes, writing key motion briefs, and generally working cases up to get them fully ready for trial, among other job duties. Minimum billable hours are 1800 per year. There will be the opportunity to participate in trials and a potential path to partnership, if there is interest.
The Firm: Small law firm with two partners and handful of other attorneys that punches above its weight and routinely beats top-notch opposing counsel in complex IP litigation matters.
Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of federal civil litigation experience.
• Admitted to the California State Bar.
• Strong legal writing skills, as demonstrated through real world experience and a writing sample.
• Habit of seizing initiative and following through
• Ability to work hard and stay organized.

Preferred Qualifications:
Some experience working on intellectual property matters
