Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cooks to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes in our kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our culinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them accurately
- Assist in the cooking and presentation of food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure that food is stored properly and meets food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize the risk of contamination or spoilage
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in the food industry or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food service procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, such as knives, mixers, and grills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
