SalarySmall Insurance Defense firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for joining the legal field. Individual will provide administrative support to our legal team and assist with various legal tasks, including
assisting attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings,
scheduling appointments, depositions, and court hearings, maintaining Attorney calendar and ensuring deadlines are met. Preparing correspondences and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Assist with the preparation of trial materials and exhibits and on occasion, perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and opening daily mail.
Applicant should have at least 2 plus years of proven experience as a Legal Secretary, knowledge of legal terminology and procedures, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
