Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of our attornies, providing support and ensuring they are able to carry out their duties. You will communicate with clients, compile case materials, and carry out a variety of administrative duties. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Answer multi-line phone
- Handle firm calendar
- Provide general administrative support
- Filing
- Order supplies
- Welcome clients into the office
- Confirm PNCs
- Review call logs to ensure calls have been handled/responded to in a timely manner
- Organize mail for attorney review
- Assist in preparing Pleading & Discovery binders for court
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Legal Receptionist/Assistant or similar role is preferred
- Available to work M-F 8:30am - 5:30pm
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Comfortable Microsoft Office and case management software
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Adhere to Business Attire/Dress Code
