The Legal Department provides core legal support to all Dolby functions, runs several IP-centric businesses, and leads government relations.
Job Title: Legal Operations Intern
Dolby Laboratories is looking for a motivated intern, passionate about technology and processes, to join our Legal Operations team in San Francisco. As an intern, you will help drive legal technology projects, including implementing and managing business processes and systems for the Legal Department, to enable efficient and effective legal business and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Support process improvement and system implementation projects, including project management and business requirements analysis of intellectual property (IP) Licensing and Compliance processes
- Assist in collaborative problem solving with other departments including Sales, IT, etc.
- Support policy development initiatives and drafting related playbooks, documentation, etc.
Qualifications:
- High level of curiosity and interest in learning new software / technology and understanding the Dolby business
- Strong organization, attention to detail, initiative, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning
- Positive and professional attitude, including dependability and timeliness
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Recent graduate or within 6 months of graduation
The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $32-40/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
