Legal Assistant

Wolford Wayne, one of the premier Plaintiff’s tenant’s rights firms in San Francisco has an immediate opening for an entry level Legal Assistant. Our focus is on representing residential tenants in wrongful and constructive eviction lawsuits. Working with us means getting to spend your time fighting for the underdog!

Our ideal candidate is dynamic, intellectually curious, highly motivated, and has a commitment to social justice. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates interested in pursuing a career in law and/or attending law school down the road.

While our office is located in San Francisco's Financial District, we offer the opportunity for hybrid remote work.

Responsibilities
- drafting correspondence

- communicating with clients

- gathering information and documents from clients

- legal research

- drafting pleadings

- coordinating with vendors, and

- filing

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Adobe

· Detail oriented

· High level of communication skills

· Ability to follow and convey instructions

Bonus Points for:

· Proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin or Cantonese

· Legal experience

· Landlord/tenant experience and/or experience with plaintiff’s side work
