Legal Assistant

Growing downtown defense law firm seeks legal secretaries/assistants with a minimum of 3 years experience.

Responsibilities to include:

*transcribe & prepare legal documents, i.e., correspondence, answers, responses, motions, appeals, etc. via digital transcription (Dragon Speak);

*knowledge of court systems and e-filing procedures;

*schedule conferences and depositions for assigned attorney;

*excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;

*document management for online networks;

*input attorney's time into billing program;

*Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook are essential.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
