SalaryAs a Legal Assistant, you will be expected to assist and support paralegals and attorneys at our law firm. You will be responsible for drafting and preparing correspondence, and will assist paralegals and attorneys in drafting and preparing other documents. You will also be responsible for administrative duties, such as making copies, answering and directing phone calls, greeting clients, filing, maintaining the daily calendar, coordinate meetings, etc. You will have to be able to work independently and efficiently with little supervision. You will be expected to ensure that client records are kept in appropriate files electronically and on paper, and you will ensure that closed cases are properly organized, stored and marked for future reference. Other duties may be assigned as they arise.
Previous experience in a law firm is ideal. However, previous experience in an office, as well as computer skills are a must. Ideally, we would like to see a minimum of 1 year office experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
