Legal Assistant

```Duties```
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, and agreements
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and iManage
- Organize and maintain legal files, both electronic and physical
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and other appointments
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and other legal documents
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Manage calendars and deadlines for attorneys
- Coordinate with other departments within the organization to gather necessary information

```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is preferred
- Proficiency in legal drafting and research using tools like Westlaw and iManage
- Familiarity with litigation procedures and processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
