SalaryThe Toledo office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is currently seeking to fill a Legal Administrative floater position in its Litigation and Disputes Service Line. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years’ experience in working with attorneys in this practice area. The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, clear and effective proof reading skills, and strong oral communication abilities.
Legal Assistants are required to:
- Be an advanced user of computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Nuance PDF.
- Write, proofread, edit, and manage correspondence and other related practice documents.
- Complete tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Work professionally with clients, partners, associates and support staff.
- Work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Education Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma required.
- Types a minimum of 60 wpm.
