Job Description:
The position is part-time, varying between 30-40 hours a week. Mainly the position is working onsite, however it could become a combination of onsite and remote work. Utilizing a variety of computer-based systems, search for required legal documents Review and interpret language in legal documents to assure it meets statutory requirements
Accurately update fields in database based on information found in legal documents
Enter names and findings into the Client Central Registry following confirmation of due process
Close attention to detail to assure the documents that have been found are for the right people and right incident
Create, update and maintain large master spreadsheets using Excel
Be able to track multiple tasks and outstanding items for follow up until resolution is reached
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve problems.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Skills Required
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task from previous work history.
Excellent written & verbal communications skills. Excellent MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, typing and data entry skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Required
2+ years working in the legal field Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
Education Required
High School Graduate
