Job description

This position is eligible for telework in accordance with OAL's Telework Policy. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager II (Supervisory), the Legal Analyst analyzes laws, facts, and documents in connection with the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), including Notices of Proposed Action (NOPA) submissions and Rulemaking files; assists the attorneys as needed; drafts and prepares final responses to inquiries; conducts research with regard to Rulemaking submissions; interacts with Rulemaking agency personnel; supports and maintains the OAL website, and supports the front desk duties.
