As we expand our leasing team, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Leasing Assistant to join us for the upcoming season.

Location: Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park, Chicago Ridge & Beverly (Scatter site locations throughout the city and suburbs)

Duration: Flexible - position available March through September

Responsibilities:

As a Summer Leasing Intern, you will play a crucial role in showcasing our multifamily scatter site portfolio to prospective tenants. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Apartment Showings: Schedule and conduct property tours for potential tenants, highlighting the unique features and benefits of each apartment.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with prospective tenants, addressing inquiries, providing information on leasing terms, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Lease Documentation: Assist in the completion of lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Property Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of each property in the scatter site portfolio, including amenities, floor plans, and neighborhood attractions.
• Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote available units, both online and offline, to attract potential tenants.
• Administrative Tasks: Support leasing managers with administrative tasks, including data entry, maintaining records, and coordinating appointments.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a college or university program, pursuing a degree in real estate, business, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of real estate leasing practices is a plus.
• Must have Saturday availability (10am-1pm)
• Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
