Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the comprehensive execution of all lease preparations and associated processes.
- Conduct applicant processing and screening procedures to ascertain eligibility.
- Strategically source and cultivate relationships with potential clients to broaden business prospects.
- Compile and organize documentation for lease agreements.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records and files.
- Provide valuable assistance in counseling and referrals.
- Offer support to tenants in addressing their housing requirements.
- Contribute to the management of eviction processes.
- Participate in the preparation of residential units.
- Assist in the timely execution of re-certifications (annual/interim) and related activities in accordance with HUD Handbook 4350.3 and management guidelines.
- Update financial ledgers with precision.
- Foster and sustain positive, productive tenant relationships.
- Contribute to the smooth process of tenant move-ins.
- Ensure compliance with tax credit regulations.
- Execute data entry tasks related to move-ins, transfers, adjustments, and recertifications.
- Handle data entry responsibilities for vacancy reports.
- Stay up to date with HUD and LIHTC compliance and training requirements.
- Perform any additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school grad or equivalent with 2 years Housing experience - Required
- Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree 1 year Housing experience - Required
- Minimum 5 years in property management or a similar role - Preferred
- Knowledge and experience with HUD (HUD Handbook 4350.3) and LIHTC guidelines
- Experience with HUD reports and forms - preferred
- Familiarity with housing compliance rules and regulations
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Ability to perform functions with strict guidelines and time frames set up forth by HUD management
- Valid driver's license- Required
