Job: Learning Systems Specialist

Description:
The Manufacturing Education and Learning Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on LMS functionality and processes, as well as providing LMS support for the organization. Responsibilities include managing data feeds between the LMS and other information systems, as well as providing technical support, troubleshooting, and testing activities, when necessary. Other duties may include responsibilities for designing and delivering learning content for the industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensures quality of training data reported to customers
- Supports training department by processing information in LMS to include creating classes, completing employee information, entering test scores, registering associates, researching database for information, pulling and reviewing work instructions, and researching and resolving system-related problems.
- Validates and implements system upgrades
- Prepares customized and regular reports
- Validates report data. Performs data analysis
- Recognizes trends and provides feedback to training management
- Create and validate reports for audit requests as needed
- Interacts with technical vendors, help desk, I/S, and customers
- Provides guidance and recommendations for decisions and/or problem resolution related to LMS. Coordinates with network/server administrator to facilitate database file maintenance and problem resolution
- Delivers database training to appropriate audiences.
- Writes desk procedures and quality work instruction
- Proficiency in Office 365 office and desirable Oracle LMS knowledge
Requirements:
- 5 - 10 years of experience with Learning Management Systems.
- Experience with multi-functional strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Production and Manufacturing processes
- Experience with Learning Management System(s). Experience with Oracle or similar
- Consistent, exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to prepare on-target project deliverables without heavy supervision.
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Possesses knowledge of adult learning theory Administers or implements training related applications including the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design, Organization Development, and minimum five years of Instructional Systems Design experience using an industry standard ID model, such as ADDIE, and proven record of implementing and maintaining learning management systems.
