Job Summary
The PW Learning Technologies Specialist role resides on the People Technologies Team (part of the Brinker PeopleWorks function) and reports to the Manager of Learning Systems. The person selected for this role will be the primary resource for providing basic to advanced-level support to LINC (our current online learning and digital content platform) users within
restaurants, field/remote locations and at the Brinker RSC. The PW Learning Technologies Specialist will own the day-to-day management and routine maintenance of all course content and digital/media assets within the Learning Management
System (LMS), currently LINC. This includes course archiving, uploading new course content, creating automated processes to ensure content is assigned to the intended jobs, locations, etc. Additionally, this Team Member will prepare basic reports (Excel format) and manage requests for learning data/transcripts.
Your Key Job Functions
- Identify learning management system (LMS) issues and track progress through all stages of the resolution lifecycle, including interaction with LMS service provider.
- Develop an on-going awareness of key issues and trends that diminish the end-user experience.
- Compiles and distributes basic reports related to course progress, compliance, etc.
- Respond to all incoming support requests sent to the LINC Support mailbox, and ensures initial response occurs within established timeframes.
- May develop job and/or maintain job aids and end-user documentation related to LMS procedures and features.
- Host calls or webinars as necessary to educate various audiences on LMS usage and functionality.
- Perform general maintenance of user accounts and course transcript records (create new profiles, adjust permissions, change locations, etc.)
What You Bring to the Team
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Prior Learning Management System support, implementation or administration experience,preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, multi-task and work within aggressive timeframes with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively in writing and verbally, required.
