SalaryGeneral Summary: Responsible for general mechanical and preventive maintenance including repair and overhaul of equipment and facilities of the organization. Willing to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel, and follows safety
- Occasional evening or weekend work.
- Mandatory rotational on-call shift for overnight and weekends.
- May be required to work in all weather conditions.
- Evaluates, repairs, and maintains plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems of clinics/administration
- Demonstrates experience as a maintenance technician.
- Physically capable of lifting 60 pounds.
- Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, and hand tools.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Handling assigned work orders and PMs.
- Cleaning and maintaining the tools/equipment used.
- Solves mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic issues on buildings and facility
- This position will require driving a company vehicle or a personal vehicle; therefore, employees must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess, and maintain a current valid Texas Driver License, and proof of current insurance to be subject for mileage reimbursement.
Education and Training: Minimum high school education or equivalent.
Experience: Must have a minimum of two years' experience in maintenance.
Other Requirements: Computer Skills: Familiarity with word processing software, internet usage, and database software is advantageous.
Work Environment: Clinic environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment. Commercial building environment both interior and exterior to include roof, attic, etc... Will also work in conditions such as wet, dusty, damp, crowded areas.
Mental / Physical Requirements: Requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, bending, walking, climbing. Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. without assistance. Close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work efficiently under pressure.
