We are looking for a Sr. Learning & Development Specialist responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Learning Program Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and design comprehensive training programs that align with business objectives and support employees' career progression.
- Curriculum Development: Create engaging and interactive learning content, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, simulations, and other multimedia materials that enhance the learning experience.
- Training Delivery: Conduct dynamic training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Learning Management System (LMS): Oversee the organization's LMS, managing content uploads, tracking learner progress, generating reports, and continuously improving the platform's usability and functionality.
- Performance Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees to enhance their professional skills and competencies, identifying and addressing individual developmental needs.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct training needs analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of existing training programs to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 5 years' experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning and development programs at a financial institution.
- Strong instructional design skills and experience with various training delivery methods.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and other training technologies.
- Proficiency in PC software applications in a Windows environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, excel, etc).
- Ability to type 45 words per minute. Ability to read, write and speak in English.
